So Brad turned the big -30- last month, and we decided to go on a cruise! It was sooo much fun. It was a 5 day cruise that left from San diego, and it went to Cabo for 2 days. My grandma came up and watched my kids, an it was so amazing. i wish i was still there.

Last day of the cruise, we are all very tired, and ready to go home and see our kids. But what a fun vacation!

ITS A GIRL!!!

So we found out what it was about 2 weeks ago, but i was on my cruise and did not have time to update what it was! I am really excited, and Brad is ok with it, Lol. We were in the doctors office, and he was really hoping for a boy, and i was really hoping for a girl, and i got my wish :) We aren't positive on a name yet, we know we like the name Skye, but i would rather that be a nickname, so we are thinking about either Skyla, Or skylee, not sure, willl let you know when we know :)

Happy 4th Birthday Shelbi and Savanna!!

Ok so before I talk about their birthday, I want to first apologize for the amount of pictures, i couldn't narrow it down, so i just put them all up.

For the Girls birthday they said they wanted to swim, So my good friend Jerica's mom has a house in Rancho and they have a big backyard with a pool, and they said we could have the party there. it was so nice of them to offer their house to us, and we had so much fun. it was great for an August birthday. Shelbi and Eizyn stayed in the pool almost the entire time we were there, and Savanna had fun, but is a little more timid about water, so she did not swim near as long.

Jumping off the cliff

Blowing out the candles

Now i don't know who came up with the idea for the guys to jump in the middle of the floaties, but they were good at it, and i got some descent shots of them doing it. the first one is my Brother in law Juarez

Brads turn

The Foameraters!

So i get Famiy Fun magazine every month, and this time they had this great idea to make what they call Foameraters. We decided to make our own, and had fun for about 15 min. until Shelbi and my nephew Alex got soap in their mouths. lol

So you take water bottles, and cut the bottoms off, then i cut a wash cloth into peices, and you rubber band them around the bottoms of the bottles. Then you get them wet with water, and then dip the bottoms in a shallow dish of pure dish soap, and then you blow. it creates these really long foam snakes.

we were doing great until Shelbi and Alex forgot that they had to move their mouth away before they sucked in air, and unfortunately they both sucked in soap, and didn't like the activity so much. but it was fun.

Yes i am totally in pajamas here, it was a very lazy day for me.

Activity Days

So in my ward me and my friend Emily are the Activity Day leaders. I abosolutely love my calling. For those who don't know what this is, I get to plan and carry out activities, every other wednesday for the girls who are 8- 11 years of age. We have 14 girls in our class, and have such a blast. A couple of weeks ago we made tithing jars and had so much fun. because it is summer we only had i think 4 out of 14 girls show up but we still had fun. here are some pictures of some of the tithing jars we made.

WHAT???

Most of you who know me really well, know that i have a lot of problems with my women organs. I was not supposed to ever have kids, and i was blessed with twins, then we were blessed with one more, and after many more problems, and about a year of discussing what to do, me and Brad have decided we are done having kids. it is just a lot for my body to handle. I went to the doctor about 4 months ago, and started the process of getting my tubes tied. they had to wait for my insurance to approve it and told me it would take up to 2 months. well i finally called the doctor friday, since it has been close to 4 and i have not heard anything, and they told me they had the wrong number for me, so they were hoping i would call. My tubal got approved over a month ago, but now the referal was expired. So they told me they would re-submit it, and i could have the surgery scheduled for 2 weeks. i am so excited, i just don't want to have to deal with anything anymore, i am ready to be done with women issues.

Then this happend yesterday!

Heavenly father apparently has a different plan in mind!

I am a little in shock, and am not really sure how to feel about the whole situation since i was totally in the mind set of no more babies. but after like 14 hours of crying, I am starting to come to terms with it, and be ok. Obviously heavenly father needed this baby to come to our family, and as i am trying to search for the positive in this, i am comforted to know that it will all work out in the end, because he never will give us more than we can handle.

New posts

It once again has taken me months to post anything on my blog. but i am here now to share 4 post of some things we have done this summer.

Beach trip

We went to the beach with some of our friends Shawn and Emily, and had a lot of fun. we left Eizyn at home so we could have a little more fun.

My little posing girl

The sand castle: well we bought the girls all these little sand castle building buckets that were different shapes so they could build a cool sand castle, and it ended up being the girls playing in the water with me, and Brad and Shawn took over the sand castle. it was like they were 5 years old again.

Dancing at the Fair

So Shelbi and Savanna had their first performance at the fair a few weeks ago, they were so cute. here is savanna and shelbi sleeping in their hair rollers.

Here is the morning of the recital, they looked so cute with their hair curled. and i did not tell them what to do, i just said ok pose for the camera so i can take your pictures, and this is what i got!

The SHOW!
ok i have to explain the show a little bit. So my little really happy girls at the start of the day, turned into not so happy girls once we got to the fair and they were told they had to dance before they could go on rides. it didn't help that the stage was litterally right in the middle of all the carnival rides. So Savanna absolutely refused to go on stage (thats her crying behind the bars) and Shelbi went on stage and wouldn't dance until half way through it, and then she just came alive. after the dance was over Savanna cried and cried because she was embarassed she didn't go on stage. So that the story of the fair, enjoy the pictures. i do have a video once i figure out how to flip it the right direction i will put it up

and then she started danceing.

We got a play gym!

We had to get something for the kids to do while they were outside, so we bought them a play gym, and they love it! it took two days for Brad and his best friend Shawn to build. but it was awesome

4 Hours into building

5 Hours into building

6 hours into building

7 hours into building

9 Hours into building

12 hours into building

14 hours later.. it is finished!

Eizyn car wash with daddy

Eizyn just had to go outside and help Brad with washing the car. they had a lot of fun.

TWILIGHT!!

Ok, i had to write a blog about twilight. because..... everyone has been trying to get me to read these books since the first one came out, and i just didn't get the whole vampire book for one, and i absolutely hate reading. i have never read a book for pure enjoyment. i read people magazines, and catalogues, etc. but not 700! page novels. lol

i made a bet with a friend that i would read the first chapter, and she swore up and down that after one chapter i would be hooked. so i decided i could give her at least one chapter.

well i wasn't hooked after one chapter, but i was intrigued, but by chapter 2....i was a twilight addict. i din't know such books existed to be able to suck me in like i was under a spell. it was INSANE!! i got a really bad cold a few days after i started, and i was SO happy because i got to lay in bed and read all day. i read all 4 books in a WEEK!!! i am telling you, the best books ever (granted the only judge i have is books for required reading in high shcool) but i am completely a fan.

so if you haven't read twilight, i am giving you all the same bet my friend gave me, read ONE chapter, and i promise you will be hooked!!! :)

Anyways to go along with this blog, i just had to have a twilight shirt, so i went and bought some t-shirt transfers so i could make one, and this is what i made.

(don't mind the fake smile. lol. i didn't see what the picture looked like til i uploaded it, and my mom only took one picture. )

and then i had to make one for Eizyn because i just couldn't help it :)
