WE FINALLY DID IT!

WE GOT RID OF BINKIES!!!!

ok so for all of you that don't know the story. the binkies have been my worst nightmare. my kids NEVER took binkies when they were first born, and were extremely addicted to their bottles. i always tried to get them to take a binkie, but they just sat in their toy boxes and they played with them.

Well when they were 1 year and a 1/2 i decided it was time to part with bottles. so away they went, and then discovered binkies. LOL i could have bypassed the whole thing if i never gave them to them as toys.

So the binkie addiction began, and i did not want to go through the whole thing again to take them away. so i just didn't.

Well one day i was fed up and just plain done, so me and Brad went to toys R us and bought them disney princess barbie dolls, and when we brought them home we told them they would have to get rid of their binkies if they wanted to have them. they both jumped out of their chairs so fast and threw them away, so i made them go find all of the other binkies in the house and we cut the nipples off ( i made them help, and throw them all away themselves) and binkies were gone. not one more mention of them and it has been 2 weeks. LOL

If i would have known it was that easy i would have done it SOO long ago. LOL
