snow days in CALIFORNIA???

So weirdest thing happend the week before christmas. we got 16 inches of SNOW on the ground! it was crazy! we do not get snow here is california, so we had to go out and buy all the kids, hats, jackets, gloves, and boots. which are also really really hard to find here to buy. Brad had to stay home from work for 2 days because they closed the freeways, and we got snowed in, since california doesn't have snow plows. but despite all that, we had a great time playing in it, and the kids were outside all day. and built their first snow man, probably ever. :)
